I'm thinking of buying a domain name and would like to aim the domain name to a particular position (near bottom of website) on another website I own.
I know I can aim it to the general website, but I would like it to go to a particular place on a one-page website I own.
Not sure I'm explaining myself right. Would it be similar to bookmarking?

domain name: www.my-car-died.com

I have an existing website that talks about car, with a part in the website dedicated to why cars die.
If they click on www.my-car-died.com, it would take them directly to the part on my already established website www.car-for-fun.com where I talk about reasons car die.

Simpler to bookmarks but aiming a domain name to a part of another website.

Probably just need to try it and see what happens.

I'm pretty sure you can set a domain to point to a specific page on your website. However, I don't think that you can point a domain to a specific part of a webpage.

I think usually it can be done in the same domain and no need for the second domain to do that in my opinion. The best solution is not to do that. Do all in one domain from showing to fixing to selling the car or writing blogs or articles hypothetically.

For the bookmark solution you have to add an HREF link on your 1st domain which will direct it to the div section of your second domain so on the first domain on any button or text you can add a link like
