My options dialog does not match the dialog shown on the Stability AI help page.

I've installed a SAI key.

It does not remove background .... click on remove and I get a working cursor for approx 5 sec then nothing.

It seems to works for me.
Perhaps your image lacks a background that stands out from the main subject?

Other programs like photoshop elements will at least make a selection on what it finds.

Is there a image size limit .... image I'm trying is 2900 pix on long side ?

Yes, there is a size limit.
Total pixel count must be between 4,096 and 4,194,304 pixels
