I have tried everything I could to have an embedded page to be horizontal size. Is there a way to do this that I don't know how to do it? Thanks.

Are you referring to a layer? I don't think this will work.
"Relative Horizontal Sizing" is an (old) way to make the layer full width on the page.
For modern layouts, I recommend to use layout grid or flexbox instead.
