Video Player + Poster + Lightbox ?

Hello All,
I've tried the default Video Player and also downloaded Plyr video player which have some nice features.
I didn't find much more on the extensions so I decided to ask here.

The website will contain lots of videos, lots of types, some we will upload to our server, some via YouTube.
I need some different solutions to make it works nice and look nicer.

I'm looking for FEW things at the moment:

1️⃣ - Auto-play ONLY when scrolling down and revealed (not when the page first loaded / preloaded)

2️⃣ - For the non auto-play videos I need a Poster (thumbnail) before clicking it and play
I believe Plyr has this but I did not see preload options.

3️⃣ - Not sure if that's the term: "Lightbox" but I'll describe what I'm looking for just in case:
Once clicking the POSTER (thumbnail) I would like it to first open a NEW OVERLAY WINDOW and start playing the current video.
I would like while the OVERLAY VIDEO is on top, the website on the background will be darken / unfocused. until closing the OVERLAY window.

4️⃣ - The player needs to support LOCAL (highest priority) but I also use YouTube.

I'm aware I can combine the Default Video Player (which have the option to not pre-load, but doesn't have poster (thumbnail)
While plyr have poster, but always pre-load which is not what I want (there will be lots of videos on our website, not all via YouTube but our own videos upload to our server)

Is there an up to date video player that does all the above?
or an extra way to do the "Lightbox" with lots of controls of how it will look?

If there is a TEMPLATE with such example, please direct me so I can just try a real-case and see for myself.
Thanks ahead! 🙏

Although it is possible to do what your asking there is a restriction on using "Autoplay" note this is not related to the software in anyway.
🔐 Browser autoplay rules
Modern browsers require:
- Video must be muted to autoplay
- User must have interacted with the page at least once (sometimes required on iOS)
- Autoplay with sound is blocked everywhere
But autoplaying muted videos while scrolling is totally allowed.

It is also possible to use the likes of a "Lightbox" to play the video in it onclick of a poster/image but again the autoplay is disabled and will require user interaction to play the video.

I don't believe there are any "Templates" that show this and in general it may require a "custom" script to achieve everything you need as mentioned.

Thank you for trying to help, I appreciate it.
Can you please explain how do I create a Lightbox as what I described on my original thread?

Since I'm pretty much a newbie (I didn't use WYSIWYG WB over a decade ago)
If you or anyone else, can please show a visual example or project file for me to explore and see in action it will sure be helpful 🙏

The standard video player also supports a poster.
It can be triggered on scroll via 'trigger'

You can use events to trigger a lightbox.
