My web site has an inline frame (with a URL in it) which resizes OK in WWB and works OK at different sizes on my desktop (by resizing the browser). But on my iPad with both Chrome and Firefox, the frame doesn't resize and goes over the side of window.

Is this expected or have I forgotten something?

Inline frames are responsive. It is a standard HTML feature.
However, Apple has decided that multiple scrollbars on the same page are confusing for the user, so Safari always displays the full content of an inline frame (with no scrollbar).
This is unrelated to WWB.
