using a layer as a line.

I wan the line to be the width of the screen. So I built a layer and made it red 2px in high, with relative horizontal resizing.
its perfect on the desktop, but does not show on any of the breakpoints?
What am i doing wrong?

I went to wrap up a sample to send you and the sample works perfectly!
When back to the original file that had the problem, added another layer as a line and it shows on all breakpoints perfectly.
I cut the layer line that didn't show up on the breakpoints and simply pasted it back into the default and it showed on all breakpoints?
I guess it just glitched or something, seems to be working perfectly now.
