Hi everyone

Im new to the member database creation in web design and i have made myself familiar with the login tools in WB15. The problem i am having is that I have a webpage (php) that has the admin console and is connected to my flat php database. In the properties of the admin diaglogue box, regardless of which password I set, the published version just refreshes the page, it doesnt take me to the admin page to edit users.

I need to be able to edit users on the go but I cannot get the admin login tool to work and im pulling my hair out.

Please help.

if you are sure that the password is correct then there may be an issues with PHP sessions of the server.

I recently upgraded my Web builder 15 and i am using the 64bit version.

I deleted all the login tools on the pages they were being used and re-added them and they do not work. They used to work before I updated WB15. I spent a lot of time populating a flatbed database of names so i even tried to connect the tools with the new test databases and they dont work at all. Even specifiying a destination and failure page doesnt work.

My hosting company has comfirmed that their servers are configured for PHP.

The strange thing is is worked before updating the software. Maybe using a previous version will work?

I doubt that this has anything to do with the new version. There are no known issues otherwise they would have already been fixed.

Are there any errors?

I cleared my online files and republished the website but none of the tools in the login tools section are working.

The previous link i sent doesnt work, does this one work?

Can you please be more specific?
What do you mean by 'not working'?
Is there an error?

Also, can you please remove all non-relevant content from your project because i have no idea where to start looking.

I have removed the unnecessary pages. So basically, this is what is happening:

The following pages have login tools linked to the flat file database:

-Recurrent-Revision-Login
- New-Account
-Change-Your-Password
-Forgot-Your-Password
-Database-Administration-Login
-Database-Administration-Control-Panel

*When details contained in the database file are completed in the login form, the page just refreshes bringing the signup form.
*When registering a new account, again the page refreshes and the new user is not entered into the flat database file.
*Using the change password page, the page just refreshes. The same goes for the Forgot Password page.
*When using the Database login form, any password send in the properties box does not work. The page just refreshes.
*Even if it try access the Database-Administration-Control-Panel page, it pops up the login box again and again and so I cannot get to the page to add/edit users.

Basically, it doesnt show an errors the pages just keep refreshing without logging in.

I have tried giving the database file full permissions, re-desiging the pages from scratch and using new Databases, still doesnt work. I have also cleared my browser caches.

Im just lost. Not sure where Im going wrong. I dont know much about coding.

Did you check the server log for errors?
Do you get an error when you remove the database (just to see if this make a difference)
Did it ever work on this server?

Your project settings seems to be correct.
A common reason for login tool to fail is if there is something wrong with PHP sessions on the server side.
To solve, this, contact your host and let them clear the PHP session cache.
