Text to Speech extension for WB 16 and above
(Will work on WB 12, WB 14 and WB 15 also)
On the click of a button the entire text on your webpages will be read out to a visitor.
Allow your users to listen to your content.
Listening grabs the attention of your users.
Listening is easier than reading content.
Number of people moving away from your website will be reduced.
Particularly useful if you have a blog.

If I start the speech and close the page the voice continues which is a bit annoying.

I dont see that happen!
I tried on Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Edge.
I opened on a new tab as well as a new window...moment the tab/window is closed, the narration stops

After opening a new tab the voice continues. This happens on Chrome, Vivaldi, Firefox, Edge and Cent Browser.
Sorry when I said "page" I meant "tab" so after closing the tab the voice continues.
However, the voice continues after closing a tab ONLY when using Cent Browser which happens to be my main browser!!
Cent is based on Chromium 80.0.3987.163.
Just to be clear the voice does stop when using the other browsers so for most users I guess this is OK.

Sorry to be pedantic but the voice doesn’t stop when using Cent Browser but that’s OK.

That's what I meant...
It works on all major browsers namely:
Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, Safari and even on their mobile browsers
