Missing fonts in drop down list - version 19.2.1

I've done research on this within the support section and have found notes regarding that fonts were an issue but fixed with the upgrade to version 19. However, I've found another issue within my installation: Missing installed fonts in a particular font family.

I installed the font ITC Avant Garde Gothic Std years ago. In version 18, it worked fine and is used on my website currently with no issues. However, once I upgraded to version 19, the fonts ITC Avant Garde Gothic Std Light and ITC Avant Garde Gothic Std Extra Light are missing from the drop down list of installed fonts. Only 3 fonts are showing as installed and usable, but this is not accurate because all of the fonts are available in other programs (such as Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word). I have attached screenshots of WYSIWYG without the other fonts in the family showing up and how many should be showing, based on the installed fonts in Windows.

Please help. Thanks in advance!

Note that version 19 uses new variable Google fonts. Your system may still have installed an old version of the font.

See the note about this at the bottom of this tutorial:
https://wysiwygwebbuilder.com/webfonts.html

Also, the software will not automatically display all fonts, by default it only show web safe fonts.
Unlike other software that does not have to care about this.

Hi, I’m not using Google fonts at all. I have never used Google fonts with or without WYSIWYG. I never activated that option and currently I have the option “manually use @font-face” activated.

Should I just abandon that and switch to Google fonts to solve the problem? Because also, possibly related, certain fonts don’t preview normally like Myriad Pro Condensed.

Some fonts are not 'web safe' cannot be used for website. Also, I assume you have a license for ' ITC Avant Garde Gothic"? Otherwise you may not use it on a website anyway.

If you use Google Fonts then you do not have to worry about licensing of the font and the software will take care of generating the necessary code.
