CSS Stacked Images (free)
CSS Stacked Images (free)
The Stacked Images extension is now available from the main extension site - here and also from my extension demo site. The help file is also available online from the same page.
This extension is based on Stu Nicholl's CSS Stacked Slideshow using just CSS3. Works fully in all browsers supporting CSS3 and provides a simple slideshow that is animated in Safari, Chrome, Opera and Firefox. Just click the top image to see the next image in the stack. When you get to the last image the slideshow starts again with the first image.
PLEASE READ THE HELP FILE BEFORE REQUESTING SUPPORT.

Beautiful work.
Glad to see that you are a fan of Mr Nicholls.
I admire the work he has done in menus, it's fascinating.

Re: CSS Stacked Images (free)
Nice!
Is it possible to adjust this extension so you can add more images (up to 20) and potentially change sizes?

MINOR UPDATE: CSS Stacked Images (free)
Not anymorekier wrote:....Shame it only works with a white background.
I have just uploaded version 1.0.0.1 that had an added property to control the background colour so the extension will work on pages with other than white backgrounds.
Available from both locations.
You're lucky day huh!
UPDATED: CSS Stacked Images (free)
10/11/11 : Having only realised I could do this yesterday (doh!) I have modified this extension (and all my extensions - see list below) so that the live rendering of the extension in design view is greatly improved. In many cases the design view will take on a background colour you set in the extension properties.
Updates available from the WWB extensions site and my own demo site. Remember to check out the extensions listed below.
Anything Slider
Automated ToolTip
Directory Listing
Elastic Thumbnail Menu
Image Information Panels
Image Swap Menu
Kick-Butt-Mega-Menu
Orbit Slider
Photo Info
Simple Horizontal Accordion
Slide Down Box Menu
tab Slide Out

Re: CSS Stacked Images (free)
Ok a couple of questions that always get asked...are you using a legal version of the software? have you tried to use a illegal version in the past?? if you have tried to use a illegal version before purchase, then this will explain why you cannot install extensions, if this is the case, then you will need to contact support, when doing so you will need to provide proof of purchase this is the email that you will have recieved with your serial.... on another note if you are using a legal version ans still havent inserted you details please do so or you will not be able to use the extensions...
Re: CSS Stacked Images (free) - UPDATED
20/02/12 : Image Content and CSS file now published to the /stacked folder.
You may need to re-link any images if you open a project that uses an earlier version of this extension. Earlier versions of this extension published the CSS file to a folder called /css and images had to be moved to the /images folder. Now the images and the css file are all automatically published to the /stacked folder.

Re: CSS Stacked Images (free) - UPDATED
Added property to enable multiple uses of the extension.
Re: CSS Stacked Images (free)
Hi Adendum
I've been looking for an alternative to Light Box for some time & I just loaded this extension onto one of my pages & I think it looks really cool, so thanks for creating a great extension
However, would it be possible to add the 'Alt Image' field so the images can be listed in Google?
I've never created any extensions so I've no idea if this is possible but I think it would add extra appeal to webmasters if included.

Re: CSS Stacked Images (free)
Yes that looks as though it is possible. I'll need to amend the code and add a property but I'm not going to be able to do this for a few days - massive backlog to clear! Will update as soon as I can.JimmyJazz wrote:Hi Adendum

Hi,
Is it possible to use the Stacked Images extension in WB10 as it does not show up in the extension list.
Pete.

Re: CSS Stacked Images (free)
Look again - its name is CSS Stacked Images not Stacked Images. I see it in my WWB10.

Thanks, found and installed.
