ADENDUM EXTENSIONS - HELP FILES

Post by Adendum »

Due to some confusion or ignorance with one (or possibly more) users of my extensions I have now updated all 23 extensions after some consultation with Pablo. Each extension is updated and can be installed from Extension Manager or downloaded from my demo site. Affected extensions are:-

Anything Slider, Automated ToolTip, Awkward Showcase, Background Resize, Camera Slideshow, Chained Selects, CSS Image Information Panels, CSS Photo Info, CSS Stacked Images, Elastic Thumbnail Menu, Gallerific, Image Swap Menu, jCrumb, Kick-Butt-Mega-Menu, Orbit Slider, Overlay Menu, PHP Directory Listing, Simple Horizontal Accordion, Slide Down Box Menu, Super Sized Slide Show, tabSlideOut, Text Panel Slide Show and Vertical Scrollbar.

There are often times when my extension support emails are asking pretty basic stuff which generally means people are not reading the help files that are provided - and I am sure the same is true for many other extension developers. One of the most common questions I am asked is "where is the help file?".

So, for those that don't know...A couple of pointers for you....

1. The help file for ALL installed extensions is found in Extension Manager in the 'Getting Started' link.
2. The help file is also available from the demo page, as is the extension for manual installation.
3. The help file is NOW also available from within the extension (see image)
4. If you require support for any extension - first read the help file and then post in the original extension release thread in this forum.
5. If you prefer privacy each of my extensions will be supported via the demo site support form.

And finally....If at first you don't succeed, take another look at the demo, read the help file one more time and then have another go at getting it working. If you still have problems, then post a request for help or use the support form. Don't be lazy!!!
