Updated to fix error with PDF not showing when help is clicked in extension, Before using please uninstall the previous version of the extension so not to conflict Thx lummis

News Ticker ***2/03/13***

Automatic news ticker with vertical scrolling and Start/Resume options. The extension uses the mootools libary of scripts, so for this to work I have placed it inside an iframe just so that it can be used with jQuery objects within WB. Please also note that this is not a RSS ticker nor does it connect to an RSS Feed, it simply allows you to insert a image, a heading for each subject, text description of subject you can also link to a external page with more information about what is in the ticker. As always please read the pdf before asking how to use.


The extension can be downloaded and installed from the Extension Manager under Miscellaneous in WB8

@amrajadhyaksha The original site no longer offers the source code, but I have emailed the original author asking if he can kindly provide the source, if he does I will take a look and se what can be done....no pronises.

BaconFries - I think that the Getting Started link for this extension is pointing at an incorrect file. I am getting a message that the PDF is not available although it is in the correct folder. It would seem as though it is pointing to newstickerwb8.5.5a.pdf instead of newsticker.pdf
