Site background!

Post by docdoc »

Hi,
I've noticed that many of you - sitebuilders - use huge images for background.
I just cannot understand it. Why don't you use the "Layer" option?
It is not "easy" to load many different background images. As far as I know - it is "effortless" for your pc system to load layers.

So FORGET images for background and use LAYERS to build the parts!!!

Ah - so to be more specific you mean those that use a white image (jpeg / transparsant png) instead of a layer to add a white backdrop for the text / pics to go on. I completely agree. I currently use semi-transparant layers (instead of a png) overtop an image as a background in some designs.

Well said.
