Text Panel Slide Show

Hi guys,

I need a text slide show for a project. Addendum has graciously placed "Text Panel Slide Show" at our disposal.
My problem is that it does not seem to display accented characters, in this case Portuguese.
Where the characters should be, I get a diamond shape with a question mark.

I am using Unicode UTF-8 but have tried all the others, to no avail.

Any suggestions?
