DEMO
HTML 4.01 Transitional
W3C compliant
* New in version 1.1.0.3
- The core has been moved to an external file for a faster navigation between pages.
- Minor code tweaks.
* New in version 1.1.0.2
- Improved compatibility with Chrome 52+
* New in version 1.1.0.1
- Added two fix objects modes; "advanced" for smoother behavior and "standard" in case of alignment issues or for an alternative method in complex designs.

* New in version 1.0.1
- Less code.
- Fixed a compatibility bug with FireFox and Safari.
- Added support also for older browsers.
- Improved object relocation.
Enjoy!

Re: Page Position Fixed Object
Thanks, but I install it in the WYSIWYG software?
Re: Page Position Fixed Object
Now, if I want to create such a floating bar in my website, may I insert my menu inside so that it may follow up and down as I scroll?
Second, where I should click in the tool to insert it so that I may create this floating tool?
Second, where I should click in the tool to insert it so that I may create this floating tool?
Re: Page Position Fixed Object
Now, I was more wondering about when a box is moving as we scroll the page, whether this box contains a menu or anything else. You know what I mean?
Re: Page Position Fixed Object
what your issue is with the extension?
Re: Page Position Fixed Object
What is its name in the extension list?
And what about the other questions regarding putting the menu inside of it?
Lastly, if I want to see my menu moving as I scroll (down and up) in my webpage, it is surely not this tool that I need. Are you sure?

Re: Page Position Fixed Object
none of your questions are related to the extension itself
i cannot teach you the software basics, please take a deep look at the wb's help and documentation

Re: Page Position Fixed Object
But as for your tool, I do not know how to work with it once installed.
Is the extension called "Fixed Object" in the extension list or else?

Re: Page Position Fixed Object
Sorry, but this template does not teach me anything as to how to use it. I do not know the name of the extension tool in the list. It is not really helpful dear friend.

Re: Page Position Fixed Object
That is what we call poor support...
Re: Page Position Fixed Object
yes? who? you and how many with you? pls dont be so ungrateful, or are you just kidding?
you didn't download the extension
you haven't read the attached sample project that comes with the extension in its zip file
i'm pretty sure you haven't read the software help files and all of its documentation
you received an answer within 15-20 minutes after you posted 3 chained not-related questions with the extension within just a few minutes
you are just blaming on me instead of take your time and learn the software basics
MOREOVER: this extension was released for FREE! at least you should spend some time and know the software and how the extensions work! fortunately there are a lot of grateful users that appreciate my work and already found my extensions useful for their advanced developments - after more than 10,000 downloads and no-one complained for a bad support; nor the free users nor the paid ones

Re: Page Position Fixed Object
Let us be clear. You are not fair in what you said. Here it is.
It is for these reasons that I asked some help.
No offense, but I would need some more help.
Comment: Yes I did.you didn't download the extension
Comment: Of course I did. The attached files show a demo which is good. However, as for the extension itself, I well asked what is the name of it once installed and asked if it was "Fixed Object". I got no answer. Once that done, I do not see how it could help me.you haven't read the attached sample project that comes with the extension in its zip file

Re: Page Position Fixed Object
Hi [rz],
Thank you for this great extension
Please have a look at this:
http://revivejordan.com/abc/page26.html
The first time you view the page, the map (which is inside a layer) shifts to the left, but after refreshing the page, all goes well... any idea?
Thank you
*****EDIT*****
Well, in the link I provided, there are 2 instances of [rz] layers (lib) extension, so I removed one of them, but that didn't solve the problem in "FireFox".
The problem always happens in FireFox, and to make sure that these is a conflict between PFO and Layers lib, I opened the project you provided with PFO and just added [rz] layers (lib), in FireFox, the layer shifts to left.
*****ANOTHER EDIT*****
Sorry for that! No, the problem is not because of [rz] layers (lib).
The problem occurs due to the following settings:
In the provided project, I removed "relative horizontal sizing" in the option of layer2, then I chose the content in the page to be centred in the browser, FireFox doesn't display it properly.
Thank you for this great extension

Re: Page Position Fixed Object
i'm not seeing the project so i cannot say what you may did wrong
anyhow, i see in the page source two things
1. a javascript error from a third party code
2. an internal version "mismatch" in pfo
pls download the attached zip file and reinstall the pfo extension

Re: Page Position Fixed Object
Thank you for the info and the project.
I tried the attached file but still didn't fix the problem in FireFox and Safari.
Please have a look at the project I attached, you can see that the layer doesn't have "relative horizontal sizing" enabled.
Thank you.

i have no idea at all. the only thing that can be helpful is publishing a problematic example and/or posting a sample with your issue.DavidMoshe wrote:strange thing happend, pfo used to wok perfectly and now since no idea when it just stopped to work on my pc, can it be a virus or something else ?
the extensions are extensively tested before their release.
did you added custom code? are you using other party extensions?

nope, your html won't look ugly in any way
on the contrary, it will work even better, specially with those pixel perfect functions with images and links

* NEW in version 1.0.2:
-Simplified startup.
-Improved external access via events for some complex cases (like when interacting with the [rz] Advertisement extension).
Note: Advanced events may require special updates, if this is the case, a call to MyObjectId.checkpos(); will be the solution (just replace 'MyObjectId' with the actual extension Id).
