The standard version of WYSIWYG Web Builder is a 32-bit application and although it will run fine on modern computers, it does not use the system in its full potential.
For example, 32-bit applications can use a maximum of 2 GB system memory. 64 bit applications do not have a limit.
Also WYSIWYG Web Builder (64-bit) was developed and compiled with the latest development tools for better performance and improved stability.
64-bit extensions
All third party extensions (created with Extension Builder) should work just like in the 32-bit version.
Most official extensions (which are real applications) have also been ported to 64bit.
Because 64-bit apps are not compatible with 32-bit, they have a different file extension: .wbx64
Updated (free) extensions are available via the Extension Manager or here:

Backwards compatibility
The 64bit version is compatible with the 32bit version.
