Buddies, I'm not new in IT (since 1962), but sometimes it makes sense to ask for help/info.
So far I built my websites with ****, which is very similar.
Since a couple of years I'm pretty goot with that tool.
But I'm afraid, that this will be a 'dead end'. Also may be an illegal version.
So I bought WW-14.
Now to my question:
I try to implement a background image 'behind' a page.
https://blumenfotos.org/index.html
But that does not work at all.
I'm sure that I miss some info.
How can I attach such background image?
See the attached screen shot @ the bottom of this note.
Thanks for enlightning.
I still have some more questions, and a proposal, but that cames in another thread.

Re: Background Image ?
Did you select a valid image file name for the background image?
See also this related FAQ:

If the file name is valid then please describe exactly what you have done so I can point you in the right direction.

Re: Background Image ?
You are implementing this wrong. If you wish to display a image in the background go to Page Properties->Style->Background and select image from the drop down then in image browse to were the image is and insert.
Re: Background Image ?
Thanks for response
I tried that, too, w/o succress.
As soon as I hit OK, nothing happens, just everthing disappears, no code generated.
In both versions.
I'm sure, that this is MY mistake, but how?
Must the image reside in a particular location?

Re: Background Image ?
What do you mean both versions? Note help is for only WWB no other software. You wont see anything in the page HTML because this setting is in the css file to which you have set to be externa. So to be able to see you would need to view this in a HTML Editor or the likes of Notepad.
Re: Background Image ?
The way I did it, and the way you proposed. What do you mean both versions?
What misleads (irritates) me, is, that there are buttons and functions - both not working as expected. That makes me nervous.
Also, I have trouble with links between objects in subdirectories.
Whe I relocate objects in the Site Manager (up, down, left, right, drag&drop).
Related links are incorrectly created thereafter, resulting in 'page not found'.
I am not under time constrains, I am retired and do that project just for fun. Sure, I would like to see a result.
If necessary, I could give you access to the server.

Re: Background Image ?
There are no known issues with images otherwise they would have already been fixed. You are the first user to ever have a problem with this.
Looking at your screenshot, the image path seems to be invalid. There should not be dots in the path name.
Internals links do not work in preview unless you enable 'Preview entire website'.
