after uploading my website is exploded

I have had this happen a couple times now.
I upload my page and then when I check my website it is all screwed up. The preview is perfect but not the uploaded copy.

You have added invalid code to the page.
Please remove all custom code or make sure it is added to the correct section of the page.

There should not be code inside the body tag.
