1.Yes it may be possible if you were to implement a script to do this yourself.
2.Sorry there is no 'Demo' that demonstrates this using the program. You will find a wealth of information on this by searching 'Google'.

I'm sorry, I am not familiar with pstgres databases. But if it's possible with HTML then you can add the functionality via custom code.
