private key file (ssh-rsa)
How can I place my private key file (ssh-rsa) with the SFTP - SSH Transfer protocol upload?
Re: private key file (ssh-rsa)
I'm sorry, there is no option for that.
Note that no one else has needed this before, so this is not a common requirement.

Re: private key file (ssh-rsa)
Thanks for the quick reply.
I do upload now with Filezilla but unfortunately it is much more time-consuming.
And with increasing security, the demand for ssh-rsa it will occur more often.
Could it be possible to look in the use of a program like Pageant for authentication?

I never heard about this requirement before.
How exactly does this private key work?
Do you get it from your web host?

Re: private key file (ssh-rsa)
I probably explain it wrong, it's about my provider (Amazon) wanting a private and public key.
An SSH key is an access credential in the SSH protocol. Its function is similar to that of user names and passwords, but the keys are primarily used for automated processes and for implementing single sign-on by system administrators and power users.
I know now how to use Putty's "Pageant" for authentication.

Re: private key file (ssh-rsa)
Do you know where I can find documentation about this in relation to Secure FTP?
