Preview not working

I have a number of websites built with WYSIWYG Webbuilder. the preview is working on all but one site.
On this site www.le-duc-gite.com the information box shows up for a couple of seconds then goes off and nothing more. Publishing works perfectly.

I have two laptops, so I tried to preview this site with my second laptop and the preview works. I thought maybe the file was corrupted in the first laptop so I copied the one from my second laptop and pasted it into my other laptop and found the site doesn't preview on this computer.

I downloaded and installed Webbuilder again... no difference.

I really don't know what to try next, any suggestions anybody??

Maybe you did not enable 'preview entire website'?

Tried that, still doesn't preview.

Maybe your firewall or virus scanner blocks the page?
Or maybe you have added scripts to the page that require the page to be online?

Note that my virus scanner also blocks the page, so you may have added something to trigger this.

I haven't changed anything on the site since last year.

If it were the firewall I would have thought that the other sites wouldn't have previewed either

OK so I just copied the file on to a memory stick ran it on the other computer and it previews fine.

I assume it must be the computer, but I don't understand how it is only affecting one website!!

Did you add any custom/third party scripts to the page?

No. Nothing new added since last year

As Pablos question... You have added custom scripts to the HTML they are the stats counter, Google Map and a cookie script. Please remove these and reinsert one by one this will try and eliminate if any are the cause to your issue. I would also check that all of these scripts are valid before using as the Google Map code has breaks in the code.

But maybe your firewall/virusscanner has been updated and now blocks the content?

Again viewing the source you have a index.js file on your server instead of a index.html or .php. This should not be there and indicates a configuration issue on the server. It could also be you have enabled 'generate external JS file in Tools->Options->HTML.
Either change the server configuration or disable 'generate external JS file' in Tools->Options->HTML and see if that helps.

I have tried them all and nothing solves the problem.

enabled 'preview entire website'
The Firewall - WYSIWYG is allowed through, turned off to test
Virus scanner - allowed through, turned off to test
Removed the "index.js" file
Removed Google Map and a cookie script & Statcounter and Google verification and tested.

It doesn't seem logical to me that my other sites preview OK but this one doesn't and that le-duc-gite.com previews from a copy of the file on a memory stick in another computer.

My firewall blocks your website so I cannot see what you have done. But the fact that it is blocked makes me think that there is some code on the page that flagged it as suspicious.

Also note that if the page contains links to https scripts (like Google, Facebook) then it may take a while before the browser loads the page in local preview.

I thought that the preview would open and just the scripts would take time to preview.

Put your project file up on a free file sharing site like We Transfer or similar. Works great and you can take it down when you want to stop access to it.
As for Pablo's firewall blocking your site - dump the counter if it is a 'free' web hosted version - those are laced with links and junk.

Are your WWB versions all the same on the other computers? Are all extensions used on all computers? Can you preview any single page successfully or are all of them not working?

The site previews OK on another laptop, with the counter.
All extensions are used on both laptops
The preview doesn't work on all pages
Just checked the WWB versions,
I have version 14.3.2 (Feb 14 2019) on the computer that the preview works OK and I have version 14.3.4 (May 2 2019) on the computer that doesn't preview.
Could there be a problem with version 14.3.4 ??

No, I think it is related to either your settings or browser.

I can preview the pages without any problems on my computer.

Note that I had to change the preview folder in Tools->Options->Files & Folder because it was configured to a OneDrive shortcut.
So maybe this shortcut also does not exist on your computer?

Also, there are several references to third party scripts (like Google Maps, Stat-counter) so these may be blocked by your firewall.
Anyway, I can ensure you that the problem in not in WWB.

OK, Problem solved. I got there in the end with your help.

I changed the preview folder that goes to one drive shortcut to the Le Duc website and it previews perfectly.
