Newsletter - PopUp Form Background Image

Hi,
I want to add a background image to the contents of the Block-->NewsLetter PopUp on my new website.
(The .png image size is 970x250)
However, when the image is added as background, it is duplicated in the form.
Is there any way that I can set it to "cover" or "contain" etc to make it fit the form?
Any ideas and suggestions are welcome.
