Video and Audio Clips

I have a page that has a few embedded youtube videos and a few html audio clips.

It's destroying Google page speed score.

I usually don't add media to a page site so I was hoping for suggestions on how to better tackle this.

Any guidance would be very appreciated

To increase the speed, use fewer videos per page.

to resolve the problem don't embed directly the video from Youtube but use this method:

Pablo - when you choose the lightbutton option with thumbnail - does the video element load or just the thumbnail until it is clicked?

In that case only the thumbnail will be loaded.
