Tree Menu - link to PDF file

Is there a way to use JSCookTree, Tree Menu or any other tree menu to link to a PDF file in the web site.

Other navigation menu allow files to be linked but the tree menus don't seem to have this option.

Or must I enter a link to a PDF file as a link to an external website?
