***SOLVED*** Saving "Publish Web Site" Credentials

Hello,
No matter how many times I publish a site, the "Publish Web Site" credentials are never saved, so I must input login info each time.
I have completely removed WWB, removed all remanence of program and reinstalled, unsuccessful!

Maybe the file 'publish.dat is read-only?

And what if you (re)move the file?
Or maybe the entire folder is read-only or protected?

You were right on, folder was protected, by Bitdefender.
Working fine now!!
