This is my first attempt at constructing a web site for the purpose of learning this software.
Starting from the default software case, ie, started for the first time, I added 2 parent pages. Master and Home. Home has been set to link or recognise the master page under the Miscellaneous tab.
Master has a header and footer, 2 Blocks. They stick together and I don't know how to add content to Home, so the Header and Content and Footer appear on the Home page. I added a text box and it can be positioned anywhere on the Home page.
What is the secret here so Content automatically fits between Header and Footer?

Re: Header & footer issue
Just add a new layout grid, flex container or other block and then you can use the arrange tools to re-arrange the sections.
This functionality is explained here:

Re: Header & footer issue
I did appreciate your quick reply.
I had already looked at the Layer Grid and the pros & cons. I also downloaded the Clouds template to dissect it, but it left me more confused. The explanation about the grid suggests it can't be used with layers but Clouds uses layers with the grid. Also, the template becomes a jumbled layout when published locally. I put that down to the template being made with an old version but part of the claimed advantage of the grid is the ability to hold everything together.
It was mentioned that you produced the amazing Web Plus which I took to easily, some 4 years ago. I sort of expected some similarity with that product and that may be the reason I am getting so lost.
I think what is clear is my ultimate project will be a multi-page affair using a Master page header and footer with a flexible size Content area that shows through on subsequent pages. How can this be done?

Re: Header & footer issue
There are several ways to design your website. You can either use absolute/fixed layout (like in web plus) or flexible layouts using layout grids/flexbox.
The difference is explained here: http://wysiwygwebbuilder.com/layout_modes.html
Examples how to use master pages with a header and footer can be found here:
https://wysiwygwebbuilder.com/master_page.html
If this still not makes it clear then can you please explain what information you are missing?

Re: Header & footer issue
I have just noticed your reply and apologise for my late reply.
I think your template will be most educational and will dig into it now.
So you were a Web-Plus'er like me. The combination of a great program and meticulous documentation was in my humble opinion, a world-beater.
It was because Pablo was responsible for the masterpiece that I bought his product.
I am starting to climb the learning curve and know it will be a long haul.
Thanks for your help.
