***SOLVED*** How to Add a New Font in the List of WYSIWYG Fonts ?

Post by vance »

I have a font named:
BrandonSmithfont.ttf

What are the steps so my BrandonSmithfont
will be included in the List of the WYSIWYG Font Family?

I saved my ttf font in the System Folder of my WYSIWYG Web Builder
but when I opened my Font Family, my font is not there.

If you install the font in Windows then you can also access it in WYSIWYG Web Builder.
Note however that by default font which are not 'web safe' are not displayed. Tools -> Options -> Fonts -> Display web safe fonts only.

Use this site for converting your font into a Web Font - Then you will need to bring them into your project via the options and change the default font for your page if it will be the default font for your text.

https://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator

P.S. note if the font is a commercial one you may need to obtain a web ready from the vendor otherwise the site will not let you generate web font due to licensing restrictions.

Hope this helps.

As I said unless your font has licensing restrictions, this is fool-proof :D
