Question on Cards & card container

I have made a new page using cards and 3 card containers set for card deck . I have a floral background page image.There are 3 rows of cards with 3 cards each. How can I set the cards to scroll and the background to stay static as I think layout grid does.
It would be nice but not a big deal if it wont. I like the cards and card container idea

If you set the Card Container to 'carousel' then it will scroll.
