Using an ON/OFF switch

First time I am trying to use it :

But, when clicking the Submit button, I want to check for each of those 2 switches, either if they oar ON or OFF or what is the Text on them at that moment.

I am trying to use - document.getelementbyid()

But, don't manage to get any result

For using an ON/OFF switch I see there is no way to validate whether anyone has checked it or not because it does not have the validate panel. So from my perspective there is no way to know if a person clicked on the switch or not.

Although you can literally see the text in the switch box I don't know where you want it again to see, but in the switch maybe you can use a text to show and hide by on and off. If you still think it is not the solution maybe you can use "Radio Button" or "Check Boxes".

Hi Alex from the url it looks like you are using Q'n'E for this so I can't help. With this said in WWB16 a "New" feature was added see the following

Form
- New feature: Normally, if a checkbox or flipswitch is unchecked then the browser will not send the value to the server. In WWB16, you can now also set a value for the ‘OFF’ state! You can set the OFF value, by using two values separated by a pipe-symbol. For example: ON | OFF

Long time to hear... Yes, I am only using QENWB (I have no longer any Windows enviropnment.
1) I assumed (maybe wrong of me) that any object in there is also available here
2) In that forum, the only one I vere get any feedback is Pablo himself, no idea why....

This feature is not (yet) available in QENWB. It will be available in the next version, planned for later this year.

Hi Alex, I know this is off-topic but I'm curious and would love to know what was the main reason for you changing to Linux.

Hello there,

Several reasons:

1) I have been with Windows for some 30 years, I got sick of the updates the need to restart the machine each time. In Linux it does it in the background and you very seldom are prompted to restart.
2) When there are updates, you can make a choice, which of them to take, which to ignore
3) The speed at boot time, nothing to compare
4) The variety of Application choices, all for free - try, you don't like - remove them
5) The support forum, very responsive, unlike Microsoft
6) Many options for Desktop design
7) Eeverything is configurable
The LibreOffice package (Replacement for MS Office) is fantastic

The switch was not easy, but I am very happy now
The ONLY thing I miss is WB
