Any cookie policy extension?

Post by miguelss »

Hi all,

Due to the new cookie policy in Europe that will be a must from next December, I'm looking for an extension (free or paid one) to complain about the new policy.
The new policy requires that the user can choose which cookies are necessary, optional, marketing, etc...

Any idea?
Thanks in advance!!

There a few FREE ones but the best one is [RZ] paid one which enables you to make your cooike message anyway you like...

Search the paid EXT section.

This one is from Pablo

Hi my friends!

Thanks for your quick answers!
Currently I'm ussing some of the extension that you share it, but no ones are in line with the new policy.

Cookie compliance
To comply with the regulations governing cookies under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive you must:
  • Receive users’ consent before you use any cookies except strictly necessary cookies.
Provide accurate and specific information about the data each cookie tracks and its purpose in plain language before consent is received.
Document and store consent received from users.
Allow users to access your service even if they refuse to allow the use of certain cookies
Make it as easy for users to withdraw their consent as it was for them to give their consent in the first place.
Please check this example to understand what I mean: https://forlopd.es/

Cheers!

I am not sure if you need such an elaborate scheme for cookies and I am UK based but what you pointed in your sample is this

Hi @Zinc,

Thanks for this usseful link.
Of course, this is an option, but it will be great some "paid" extension to manage everything inside the server.
If somebody knows one, I will be grateful

Anyway, thanks a lot.
Happy Halloween!

Yeah, I've noticed in the last few weeks many websites now giving you the option to choose the types of cookies you want or in some cases reject them all.
