Copy/Paste Text Values to Multiple Flexgrid Objects - Possible?

Post by snpwire »

Hello, is it possible to copy an object's values, particularly TEXT value settings, paste it to numerous similar objects within a flexgrid container?

eg.. I have a Flex container with 3 CARD objects which has a Header value, general text in the body area, and a Button, I select the first card object select it and copy (Also tried copy style), however text values, sizes etc.. do not change to the values I copied to the other cards if I paste to them..

I'm assuming this can't be done the way I am attempting, however, is there a faster way to apply or paste values across multiple objects when making slight changes without having to change each object individually?

Thanks for any help on this..

There is no currently no option to copy the style of Card items.
Copy/paste style can only be used for basic elements like text, form elements etc.
A card is a very complicated object with many different options, styles and combinations. So, that make it very difficult to implementer this for cards.

Ahh, ok Thanks Pablo,

I kind of figured the Card Objects kind of got their own world of doing business.. lol. That's cool, If there is much for me to modify in similar cards I think it is faster to copy and paste the modified card to other remaining card sections after removing them and then make the changes needed. It really all depends on the layout and contents of each card rather or not this method would be more efficient, but at least it is an option that can be done.

Thanks for the info. 8)
