Publish my new site with a differend name
Hi, i updated my site with the name test. i like to publish it but do i have to change the name first to override my current site and/or do i have to do this at my server?
Re: Publish my new site with a differend name
Do you mean that you have named your project test?
You can use 'Save As' to save it under a different name.

Does it wil override my old site if i use the same name?
Re: Publish my new site with a differend name
The name of your project is unrelated to the published site.
Can you please describe what you mean by 'name'?
Do you mean the URL or maybe the 'title'?

Re: Publish my new site with a differend name
I am not shure... url? What i want is by publishing my new site they old one does'nt show up. Only the new shows up! How to a complish this?
Re: Publish my new site with a differend name
You need to have a test folder. So, if your production folder start point (current one) is for example www.mysite.com/index.html, your test site could be www.mysite.com/test/index.html.
To achieve this, go to your hosting site and create a folder called 'test' underneath the root directory. Then change WWB upload (assuming that is what you use) to start uploading from 'test' and not from the root.
That is what I do and it works fine.
Alternatively, you could create a different root somewhere else.
