WYSIWYG Web Builder FAQ
I need help... I want my website editable online.
Please can you help me how to use cms tools i'm done creating my website but my client wants to edit it online.
Re: I need help... I want my website editable online.
You do realise that as soon as your client touches (modifies) a page, your source (.wbs) file is invalid. Try and discourage them.

BF, I don;t disagree that it is possibe and may even be easy to implement. But everyone has to realise that if they accidently update the relevant pages from their project, everything the customer does could be invalidated.

Nice response from BaconFries. Those are good options.
FIRST QUESTION to client. Exactly what do you want to be able to update and edit?
I have found the answer is usually isolated smaller areas or sections of the site.
I just delivered a new site to a client that was moving from a botched Wix development that cost them $25K. I used the new CMS editable content tools in Version 16 (thanks Pablo) to allow them to make announcements and updates on several pages of the site. That fits their needs. I did provide the IT department a full licensed copy of WWB and my development files. I don't anticipate them using it but it was part of the comfort.
If your client has specific spots of text, images they want edited you should be in good shape.
I also recommend the PHP scripts from PHPJabbers.com for CMS, Image galleries, Blogs, Newsletters, Reviews, Calendars, etc. These scripts are very affordable, play nice with WWB, and provide the client with an online dashboard to interact with their site. But nothing they do in the dashboard will impact your WWB development.
Adding client editable sections to their site with WWB CMS editable content and/or PHPJabber scripts can be done without having to start over on the current site.
All those options can be completely put aside if your client insist they want full access to edit the entire site. That being the case another platform was a better development choice.
