*** SOLVED *** Saving and publishing error.

Post by SteffJay »

There seems to be an error since i updated WYSIWYG to v16.1.1 x64.
When i save to disk, it takes forever to publish it. When i try to publish to the website i receive this error: Access denied because the application does not have enough permissions, or another application has the file open and locked .
Any ideas anybody??

I do not think this has anything to do with the update otherwise other users would have the same problem.

This is most likely related to:
- file or folder permissions
- your firewall
- your virus scanner
- ransomware protection

Your firewall/virusscanner may see the update as a different application therefor block access to the file/folder.

Hi Pablo. Many thanks for your reply and advice.

I checked all of the possibilities without any success. I did however do a cyclic redundancy check and found that that was causing the error. All sorted now.
