Hello,

For some time I have always had this error message when I publish a web page

Internet Exception Error 12002

Details:
The time limit for the operation has been exceeded
Closing FTP connection ...
Removing temporary files ...
Publish failed!

Generally this indicates that the publish timeout is configured too short? Try increasing to a higher value. If using winnet try with winsock as the FTP engine instead.

Based on ther error it looks like you have set the FTP engine to 'wininet'.
I recommend to use winsock instead: Tools -> Options -> Publish

Also, make sure that your firewall is not blocking the connection.

Yes it worked, I changed to winsock and I disabled Norton.
