Can no more put a lino To a page when hidden

With the new version i can no more use a link To show a page if is hidden. Sometime i need To hidden because i do not want the page To be show in thé cms menu but i want To be able To call the page with another link
I used To be able To do that before

This functionality has not been changed recently.
What is the exact problem?

in the cms at the Visible label if we choose Hidden , we can no more access the content of the page by using a direct link like this

http://websiteaddress/index.php?page=4 ( this is an exemple)

But if we choose visible the direct access by a link is ok . we can then see the content !

This is behavior by design.
If the option 'visible' is unchecked then the page will no longer be accessible for users.

it is new with this version because it was working before. Before it was only hidden on the menu and we still have the opportunity to call the page by a link.

This behavior was changed since version 16.0, because other users reported this as a bug.
Most users do not want hidden pages to show up in the search results.
