Protect image

Post by kar-agnus »

Hello,

Do you know of an Extension that would protect images, photos in your gallery/website from being easily downloaded or copied ?
It should be made or compatible with wwb 16.

I found this : its a stack and it protects images from being easily copied but its made for a different web builder software
Link : https://www.weavers.space/stacks/image-safe

Is there a similar thing for wwb 16 ?

Thanks,

if you just double click the image you have placed on your page you will see a tab with Watermark on it, choose what you want and it will place a water mark over the image so if someone goes to download or print it there will be the mark overlaid on it.

There is no way to 'protect' your image. As soon as the browser can display the image, it will be available for download, because otherwise the browser would not be able to display the image.
Adding a watermark is probably the best way to make sure no one uses the image without your permissions.
