Mobile Template / Compatibility

Post by Nomad Soul »

Hi

Is there a WB template which is designed to be 100% compatible with mobile phones.

I've been trying some of the templates on my mobile but they are not working the same on my desktop and phone.

Is it recommended to make 1 website which is compatible for desktop and mobile or do a specific site for each?

Thanks

Not sure what you mean by 100% compatible, but if you use layout grids and/or flex grids and fully responsive elements like menus, etc. the site will be automatically size adjusted. You may have to tweak some settings like breakpoints but it isn't difficult.

All templates can be made compatible with mobile devices.
If you need a different layout for smaller screens then you can add one or more breakpoints.

Thanks Pablo

Is there a navigation menu which just gives you a single button with 3 lines for mobile?

I just want the menu to be a single button at the top right corner to press and reveal the menu items

There are many navigation objects that support this:

I have 1 more question please.

I'm trying to make my mobile site using layout grids.

Its going well but i can't do fine placement of additional things like text when i add these in the grid.

If I just put some regular objects under a layout grid the next layout grid I add will snap to the one above it.

Is there a way to use layout grids but still be able to have some areas of the page where you have full control of where things are positioned?

Use a floating layer set to full width in that case.
