*** SOLVED *** Image Hotspot preview and publish differences

Post by mac13 »

Hi Pablo,
I'm starting my adventure with Image Hotspots. I created the graphics according to the guidelines. Preview works fine on different browsers and is a mess after publishing. Please help.

It looks correct for me.
What do I need to do to see the problem?

There is no difference between preview and publishing. If it looks good in preview but not when published, it usually means you have not published all the files to your server (or some files are missing).

Also, make sure to do a hard refresh when viewing your site online to make sure your browser gets updated with changes (control - F5)

Double checked all files - local and on server. All copied once again. See att. screenshots: preview and published:

Hi Alan,
What browser did you check on? I tested on Edge and Firefox (27" monitor), after clearing the cache, I keep getting a second image ...

I give up. https://wasowscy.net/index2.html I tried on 2 computers and mobile, even after ^F5 everywhere I see screen shown below. It looks like the Eu graphic has anchored in the top left corner and moved the photo to the bottom ... and this BIG icon in center... Any idea?

To me, it looks like the style sheet is not loaded.
Did you also try different browsers?

Hi Pablo,
Please close the topic and mark it as solved. I have abandoned this extension.
