Maybe you have added too much content to the page so you computer cannot handle it?
Are you using the 64bit version of the software?
Do you have the same problem with a new (simple) project?

If you need further assistance then please share a DEMO project.
Note that version 15 is no longer maintained. If it's a problem in the software then it may have already been fixed in version 16.

It just started to freeze in the last two months.. The website use to be much larger than it is now, without freezing. It use to be 18,000 page height. The page giving me problems was 7742 page height. I think I'm using the 32bit software. I'm using window 10 64bit processors. Is there a place that I can download the 64bit version, to see if that helps? Also I have many old website versions saved as wbs files. can that slow down the program?

Thank you for your response.

The 32bit version only supports 2GB of memory. This may cause issues for larger projects.
The 64bit version does not have this limitation.

No

If you need further assistance, then please prepare a DEMO project so I can see all your settings.
But before you do that, try version 16 first so we can be sure this is not an issue that has already been fixed.

Maybe you have enabled 'automatic backup' in Tools -> Options -> Backup

I just looked in the back up manager, and it does have a log of when I updated the page. How do I turn that off?

Thank you!!!

The freezing has gotten worse. Always get a not responding. Should the program be using that much? Does my computer suck. Can't figure out what is going on. And the power usage has gone to very high. This started happening 6 months ago. Please help.

Normally, the software should not be using this much memory, but of course it also depends on your project size and the images used in the project.
Without more details about your project and workflow it is difficult to say anything meaningful about this.

Note that version 15 is no longer supported. But, the software has not been updated for more than a year so it should behave the same as when you first started using it. It will not suddenly start using more memory.

https://www.purekustom.com/ This is the website. Very picture heavy. Do you think all the pictures are what's slowing it down? I'm using light box, fancy box.

Yes, there are lot of large images.
I strongly recommend to reduce the size of the images before adding them to the page.

Why? Because to be able to display image in the workspace the software needs to load and decompress the image first. So when loaded, the image will take up a lot more memory.
For example, many of your images are approx. 4MB, These images will use more than 40MB in memory. Eventually the system memory will be full and the software will become slow.
I am sure that if you load all these images in any other software tool at the same time, that it also will be slow.

The lightbox itself does not use much memory, it's mainly the pictures.
