My go to cookie policy extension is growingly less popular with the clients.
What is your favorite go to cookie policy extension? Preferably something non-obtrusive and is at the bottom of the page.

Re: Cookie Policy
I'm implementing the 'Cookie Bar' into my website because I have a requirement for the 'Disable Cookies' option. What does the 'Disable Cookies' option actually do behind the scenes to stop cookies?
Another extension I really like is 'Cookie Consent' but it doesn't have the 'Disable Cookies' option. Does anyone know if there is a version of this extension that has a 'Disable Cookies' option?
Does anyone know if any other extensions that offers a 'Disable Cookies' option?
All help appreciated.

Re: Cookie Policy
The option 'Disable Cookies' does not do anything (other than to display the option), because there is no way for the extension to know if or where you have implemented cookies.
That requires knowledge of all scripts and services used by your website.
So, you will need to implement this functionality yourself.
This is documented here:

Re: Cookie Policy
@roy,
One question to ask is are you even adding a cookie to websites? If you are not,then there is no need to have the option to disable.

Re: Cookie Policy
BF - I like the cookiebar but it remains at the bottom of the screen to show the privacy policy which is some obstructive esp on mobiles... Apart from that it is great.BaconFries wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 1:50 am Have you considered one of the following:

Re: Cookie Policy
Hey Rob I use the late RZ's which works with a layer so you are in control - I understand this does not help you but Pablo's Cookiebar is the next best thing.Rob wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 1:29 am My go to cookie policy extension is growingly less popular with the clients.
