[WWB17] Extension Data Viewer Update Issue

Post by christiaan »

Hi Pablo,

WWB17 tells to update the extension " Data Viewer ":

The update process reports " Successfully installed! "

But after updating the Extension Manager again tells to update the same extension.

Under " Installed Extension: All " the extension " Data Viewer " is *not* listed.

The extension files in the WWB17 system folder:

I'm using WWB 17.0.4 64-Bit on Windows 10 Pro 21H1 build 19043.1348

One of the files may be the read-only or otherwise protect so they cannot be overwritten.
Try to remove all files related to "Data Viewer" before installing the new version.

Data Viewer is a paid extension.

Where (or how) can I download the latest version or files?

I've checked the file attributes - none of the files are write protected.

You are right, Pablo.

I was confusing the extension " Data Viewer " by " Bootstrap Table ".

After removing the extension " Data Viewer " I got the message prompt " file in use ".

Reinstallion of " Data Viewer " got me:

Since then no more update dialog :-)

But not all installed extensions are listed at the Extension Manager - hmmm ...

This is most likely because you have a mix of 64 bit and 32 bit extensions.
