Changed Object ID to a unique name, but still get Duplicate ID error on master page

I have several "Duplicate ID" errors on the master page.
As suggested in the forum, I changed the IDs to a new name that is clearly unique.
Unfortunately that doesn't work. WWB says the new name also a duplicate.
Very puzzling. Can someone please tell me what to do?

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

When I have a master page, I precede all ID's with "M". You can do that which should ensure uniqueness.
