HTML on extensions

Post by Humberto »

Hi all,

Can someone tell me why the code i put on object HTML on extensions is not published?

For exemple, i'm using Masonry Gallery Extension and i've some code in object HTML. When i publish the page all the code is ignored.

Thanks in advance.

Which is it "not published" or "ignored"?

If not published, it's hard to say as we don't know what your code actually is. Is it correct? Is being put in the right spot?

If published but ignored, then maybe the code is incorrect.

Need more info.

Hello crispy68,

The only code that is ignored is the custom code that i put in Obejct HTML. The code is right and in the right spot. If i edit the page outside wwb the page works just fine. This problem is happening witl all custom extension. The problem is easy to replicate, put some custom extension on a page and put some code in Object HTML (i'm putting code inside tag), publish the page and you can verify that the custom code was ignored.

Can you give a simple example of code you are adding so I can try for myself?

Extensions are external modules, which generate their own code, so it's not possible to add code.

Hi Pablo,

Tahnks for the replay.

As wwb gives the option to put code, i thought that was possible.
