PayPal Cart

Post by kevinp »

Since upgrading to the latest version 17.1.4 the Paypal Cart icon no longer appears to respond to items being added to the cart by showing the number of items or providing a link to open the cart . Is this something that anyone else has experienced?

No sorry I was just running a test via the built in preview function which worked on previous versions. I haven't reached the stage of publishing and previewing via my local server. When I reinstall the base 17.0.0 version it works OK.
P.S. Tried on multiple browsers. I have now published and run via local server but this still produces the same result.

I appear to have solved the issue by removing the program and reinstalling with the full 17.1.4 installation package whereas previously I just copied over the updated files only without the installer. No idea why this resulted in this issue but may be helpful to anyone else experiencing this.

The update package only includes the files that were changed since the latest update.
So, if you have skipped an update then you will not have all the updated files.
