Page Properties

Post by colsmith999 »

in page properties i have set the height at exactly the same as the lowest element on the page but in the 360pixels break point set to view on a smartphone the page actually scrolls down way beyond the property i have set. on any other page on the site the scrolling stops at the page property i have set. I have set hidden objects to visible to check for something that shouldn't be there but as far as i can see all the hiddden elements on the page are inside the set breakpoint and there are no items below the bottom element of the page.

any ideas which setting is wrong?

As a side point the view for a tablet or a pc monitor is how it should be.

Fastest road to success in these cases is often sharing your project file.

The archive page didn't load for me the first time as it said there was something missing (I dodn't catch what it was). Second time, it loaded, but it won't preview. So, I guess I still have something missing.

Sorry I can't help more.

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

Hi Pablo, I have created a project file containg only the page that is giving me the issue.

as I have said in the previous post, when viewed on a smartphone (360 breakpoint) the page can be scrolled down way beyond
the page properties. this issue is only occurring in the 360 view.

here is the link to the wbs file - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UHQ7vj ... sp=sharing

also the effect this issue is having can be viewed on the published web page here - http://www.maltonbowlsclub.org/archive_page.html

First note that the page properties do not define the page length. The height in page properties sets the workspace size.
The actual page height is determined by the content on the page.

In this case, the height is set by the JSSOR extension. It seems to use a 'ghost' element to implement effects.
JSSOR is a third party script. Unfortunately, you (or I) have no control over this behavior.

Thanks Pablo, it seems to be the slideshow thats causing the issue, possibly the transitions of the photos.

I will try an alternative slideshow to see if that will cure my problem
