Web Builder getting slow with text.

Post by Al_Sin »

Hi Pablo,
My Web Builder getting slow. I started my project from version 14 and now I use the last version and it is very slow, especially when I am working with text.
1. When I enter text, it takes around a second to see the letter on the screen.
2. Also, it is very slow when I try to scroll down my page.
I opened my project on another computer with Web Builder and it works fine. So, most likely it is not a project problem, but web builder setting on my computer.
I use web builder 17 under Windows 8.1.
1. Should I uninstall previous versions of web builder?
2. Could I clean something in the settings? Any other recommendation?
Thank you, Alexandre

Maybe the spell checker is enabled?

Or maybe another process is activate in the background (backup, auto save)?

No.
I have disabled spell checker and backup. As I remember, it started when I played with Google fonts. But I have removed all this fonts now.

Note that the text editor is a standard Windows component (richedit), so this maybe system related.

If you need further assistance then please share a DEMO project so I can see what you have done.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:
