Flip Animation

I was wondering if I could get some guidance as to what css code values I would need to change to stop or reduce the image from enlarging as it spins.
I would like the image to just spin at it's original size.

I do not think you cannot change this, this is how 3d transformations in CSS work.
Even if you change the perspective to a large value then the flip animation will still be larger than it's container.
