*** SOLVED *** Publishing fail - CLOUDFLARE?

Post by laros »

Hello,

I have had normal uploading and publishing website until now. Now I have changed my website to Cloudflare and since than i get this error:

SOCKET OPERATION TIMEOUT

Few possible causes for a connection timeout are:
- The remote host is not reachable
- Your ISP is blocking the outbound connection (this is common for SMTP port 25)
- If your timeout is too short, then maybe the server is just too slow to accept the connection

ConnectFailReason: 6

Anyone knows how to solve this?

Thank you in advance!

Are you sure your settings are correct?

Which settings?

I havent changed anything in publish settings from before Cloudflare and after Cloudflare. Website works ok now on Cloudflare, but I can't update my website because publishing is always failed.

You wrote
changed my website to Cloudflare
I assume this requires different settings as your previous web host?
So, you will need update the publish profile.

You will need to change the publish / FTP settings so the files will be uploaded to the cloudflare server.
Only the web host can tell you what those settings are.
