remove html for google activations by site visit

Post by fredphoesh »

Hi all,
I've just been speaking to a Google support person about the Google Ads that I have. And they say that I need to remove this code from my website which. I think must have been applied somehow automatically by WYSIWYG. The code here is measuring visits to the site, which I don't want, I want only the codes Google have helped me add to the footer to measure mailto and form fill clicks.

Is there a setting to remove the code, as you see here in lines 217-220, I tried selecting the code and pressing delete but this did not work.
Thanks, Mark.

WWB does not add this code automatically.
So, you must have added it yourself.

You can remove the code the same way as how you added it.

There are 3 ways to add custom code to the page:
- Page HTML
- Site HTML
- HTML object

Thanks I found it under "Google Analytics..." by right mouse clicking on the side of the index page on WYSIWYG.
